Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know we’re s Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know we’re still alive and also still in Sydney. ☺️ Aaand… I would love to talk to you about something that I carry with me now for a long time. Soooo… I’ve been avoiding posting on Instagram for sooooo long. Since we left for our world travel (November ‘21…omg…what?) I really wanted to do Instagram: posts, photos and reels of us and our adventures. Share my thoughts and feelings, tips and tricks, ups and downs. But every time I opened the app I felt so overwhelmed by self doubt, afraid of judgement of others, that I never really managed to post a lot. Most stuff you see comes from Sascha keeping Insta alive. I just did some stories here and there, but nothing fancy. But I feel like I actually have a lot to share with you guys! So many travel tips, thoughts, challenges we’re going through. After two years on the road we did learn a lot about travel and ourselves too. So much we’d like to share! I would love to share my passion for travel, nutrition, sports and more with you! I am just so in my head, that I am afraid of judgment, negative comments and all that could happen. But what I just realized is that I should rather focus on all the nice and loving comments and people we connected with through this app! That we wouldn’t have met and connected without Insta and YouTube! And I just got a confidence boost from a very good friend (love you thank you so much!❤️Thanks for the pep talk) and will try to at least give this Insta-thing another chance until the end of the year! Everything I post here, every story, every word, every photo and video….all feels like a crazy challenge to me. Did you ever feel like this? When are you in self doubt? And do all these beautiful pictures of professional channels (that I love, no criticism here, please keep posting them!) also hold you back from posting your own content sometimes? Let me know below. After three months in Australia we’re finally of After three months in Australia we’re finally off to our next country again! The last three months were kind of crazy, so much happened behind the scenes. On our flight from Nepal to Australia I got food poisoning (the first 12h flight of my life), recovering from it took quite some time, we tried to find a van 🚐 to convert for our big lap around Australia, I was looking for a job to fill up our budget, we tried house sitting for the very first time and loved it! Sadly my grandma died a few weeks ago which threw me off again after finally having recovered from the really bad food poisoning. All of this felt so much at that time. And after being on the road for 6 months non-stop, we kind of needed a break. A break from filming and a break from constantly moving from one highlight to the next. I felt like I really wanted to give you an explanation why it’s been so quiet around here for so long. I guess what I am trying to say is, that even living your best life and chasing your dreams isn’t always just sunshine and rainbows. And it is ok to take a break, to reevaluate and regroup, decide for something else. Staying true to yourself, giving yourself the permission and time to think about your next steps is always a good idea if it feels right for you.
